E30 Chassis Rail repair and/or replacement

Hi all,

I am in the process of having my E30 Race car repair following front end damage in August this year. I would be interested if anyone had any specific information on the process of removing and replacing damaged chassis rails. Whilst the vehicle measurements are readily available, there appears to be no information on the best process to remove and refit a chassis rail.

Any assistance (preferably with photos) would be greatly appreciated.

A local high end shop here in Seattle purchased the rack tools from the regional tool rental house as they closed them out ~10 years ago.
Look around perhaps a shop close to you may have done the same.
Way easier to replace a frame rail with proper tools.
