Okay I drive a 93 325IS with a 95 M3 s50 swap and a rk tune on it. As of the past 2-3 weeks I’ve encountered a issue where during deceleration I’m getting a flashing check engine light. It does not stay on but it does happen in almost any gear once I’m past 5k-6k rpms and let off the pedal I would get a flashing check engine light. Also in some cases when the check engine light flashes and I try to give gas the car will kind of stutter or hesitate before taking off. I’m leaning towards thinking this a misfire but just not 100%. I don’t think it’s my tune because I’ve had this tune for over a year and I’m just now experiencing this. The check engine light never comes on during acceleration only when I get off the gas and I’m decelerating. Any thoughts ? Bad coil packs, bad spark plugs...???
Smoke test for vacuum leaks, change your O2 sensor (pre-cat) if its old, run a bottle of injector cleaner.

It's OBDI, it won't be of much help.

A Flashing Check Engine light is indicating a misfire. Change your plugs first see if it goes away if not then a coil is going bad.
