What does the BMW shop manual say on the time
to replace the HCV ?
I have the HCV and new clamps
One repair place says its 2 hours billable..
I know its tight in there but that seems long billing hours.
Getting at that bottom hose to put back on looks like a major pia
or i would do it myself.
Thanks
It is much easier with the intake manifold off, which is a hassle but not too hard and it would be a good time to refresh the vacuum and heater hoses.
im not expert enuf to do that.
i saw it in bentleys, no way
anyone have the listed labor time for this ?
I don't see how it could be done efficiently without taking the manifold off. 2 hours sounds about right.
I replaced the bottom hose going to the head on my car last winter in about 2 hours
