I installed a new Haartz stayfast softop and the new top is obviously much tighter than the one I replaced. I’m now having trouble getting the rear quarter windows to align with the door windows. There’s a gap at the top of the vertical window seal. If I raise the quarter windows with the doors open I can wiggle them into place at the top of their travel and then the front door windows seal as designed. But it’s hit and miss while raising them together after having the top down. Any tips for adjusting these?
quarter windows have screws that allow for adjustment. Remove your lateral panel and you will see a couple bolts that are actually the star shaped holes with a nut. Loose the nut, turn the star bolt to the desired place and tighten.
They can adjust forward and rear, in and out.
Updating in case people find this thread in the future. The upper nuts Greg mentions are 13mm and the torx screw is 20mm. I found I also had to loosen the two lower 13mm bolts (no torx screws) in order to get the window aligned vertically before adjusting the upper nuts and screws. This worked and I now have the quarter windows aligned with the new top and sealing well against the front windows.
