2006 E60 530i newbie questions

My E64 just got a playmate yesterday! I bought the '06 530i knowing it has a few gremlins. Cabin blower did not work when I bought the car. I feared the blower motor was shot but when I traced down the main fuse in the glovebox I found that somebody had moved the fuse to an incorrect location (4 instead of 3). Works now. I am in the process of fixing other easy ones but need advice on these:

- Passenger Front Parking Light fault. Angel eyes do not work on the passenger side but the parking light seem fine. Will the Angel Eyes not lighting up cause a fault? How do I trace down what is wrong with them?
- Garage Opener will not program. I have cleared the old codes out and attempted to program the buttons exactly how I did my 645ci (hold button and press remote until light flashes slowly). I tried many different distances between the remote and mirror but it will not program. Any tricks?
- Emission Inspection warning. Can't I reset those like I do the cabin filter, oil change, and brake fluid service warnings?
- Sometimes, sunroof almost closes then opens back up automatically. What does that mean?
- Windshield fluid pump does not work. No noise when it is activated.

Garage door opener, There are fixed code openers and alternating code openers, you are using the fixed code method. Is your door opener in fact a fixed code opener? If the opener is alternating code door opener and you don't have the owners manual for the 06 e60, go to BMW's NA website and down load the PDF owners manual for the 530i.
