    Unhappy Not going more than 90km/h

    Hello, so I ran into problem while driving on highway, when car rejects to go more than 90 km/h. It starts to hesitate from 4th gear, really hardly accelerates from 2k rpm's (takes forever to go up to 3k), and after i shift to 5th gear it's not going more than 2k rpm, when I ground it fuel consuption arrow goes down, and speed is going down little bit. Yet for 1st and 2nd gear everything seems normal, little bit hesitation on 3rd but not that obviously. So maybe any of you guys had experienced something similar? Thinking about fuel pump, as one guy said that it is working on "emergency mode" or something like that. My car e46 2002 320d.
    Tried to run diagnosis and got 2 errors: 41f1 and 41c2. Would appreciate any help.

    Those seem to be fan codes:
    41f1=Electric Ventilator – Short Circuit to B-
    41c2=Activation -Fan- Activation Interrupted

    Are you overheating at all?
    It may be in limp mode due to fan being non-operational.
    Sorry, but I am unfamiliar with diesel engines.

    No, it's not overheating, the same issue on cold engine.

    It’s likely you have a fuel delivery issue. How many miles/kind since the fuel filters have been changed? Are the fuel pumps original?

    Not sure to be honest, never checked that one, by myself I didn't changed fuel filter, so maybe problem is there if it is possible.

    Try a diesel fuel modifier like amsoil all-in-one or fuel injector cleaner. If it helps you probably have bad fuel or gelled fuel...is it getting cold where you are?
    if you don’t know when your filters have been replaced, it’s time to replace them!

    Go to www.realoem.com and enter the last 7 characters of the car’s vehicle identification number. Hit enter and bookmark the page. Scroll down to fuel preparation to find the filter(s).

    Hi

    Have you managed to resolve this issue. Im having the exact same thing with the exact same fault codes. If you have fixed it and recall how you did, could you please let me know?

    Thanks,
    Ed
