So we weren't planning on getting a new vehicle, but this one popped up locally, and my wife said we should test drive it so we would know we wouldn't like it. Backstory, before I got my current daily, I test drove a 2012 328ix wagon, as I have always wanted one, but I didn't fit well in it and it just wasn't comfortable. Because of this, we believed we would have the same experience....
So here we are today, and we not proudly own a 2016 328i xDrive Sport Wagon.
It's got the M-Sport package, Lighting Package, HK audio, Tech Package, Premium Package, and most notably the Track Handling Package. This is a very hard combination to find, and there are only about 6-8 wagons with THP in the US on Autotrader and Cars.com

Needlesstosay, we are very pleased, even if it was an unexpected purchase. Already picked up some rims for winter tires, along with weathertech mats and cargo mat.
Now to find a place to store my Z3 or C70 for the winter so this can sit inside.

Nice. I’m kinda partial to tourings. I’m also originally from Rochester. What part of town do you live in?

Excellent, with a bunch of nice options!
Make sure you use a square wheel setup with the same tire size all around in order to prolong the transfer case clutch life.

Thanks. I love it so far.
As for the wheels, the current stup is 8" front, 8.5" rear, so not that far from square. It will have a square set of winter rims on it though. I was reading up on the Transfer case issues a little last night, but need to find out more information before the warranty is up on it.
I am on the east side of Rochester, Perinton area.

As cool as a staggered setup looks, I don't think it belongs on the xdrive model. You will have failure of the clutches eventually, as they are always slipping when the rolling ratios are different, even by a small percentage.

Congrats on the new daily! You definitely don't see many M-sport + THP F31s on the road. These are the last of the wagons that BMW will be importing at least for a very long while.
I will be joining the Z3/M + Touring club very soon =)

Just took the car on a 500 mile round trip on it's new Style 396/Blizzak combo and it performed wonderfully. Getting used to the brakes though, as they are much more touchy than my old Terrain.
