Anyone done this?
Trying to put some LEDs on but I know hyperflash is going to be an issue.
Fast flashing is from the turn signals, but the CELIS lights dont use LED turn signals so that shouldnt be an issue. You need to regulate the voltage to the LED strips though or they will flicker and eventually burn out. It has been done literally hundreds of times, a search should yield a lot of results.

Well that was bad wording on my end.
I mean I want load resistors for the lights that have the celis so I can use LEDs,
Thanks for the reply man
I upgraded my lcm to LCM IV and run LEDs in every socket without any resistors.
any hyperflashing? did you program anything? what bulbs did you use?
Hmmm...I have celis tails in my ‘97...I just made an adapter harness and plugged them right in. I don’t get any flickering lights back there, but I do have a check tails message.
What do you think they’re talking about? The hypflashing is the system checking for resistance. And they are flashing, you just have not noticed it. When a bulb reaches its time for the garbage can, the filament breaks up, when the filament breaks up, the hyper flashing check that the LCM puts out tells the system to put out the warning that your bulb is out. The LED’s will flicker, the system is doing its check, well, LED’s don’t have much resistance, the system then thinks that the running light bulb is out, hence your check light is on. You can install resistors on the line that fires up the LED’s, it will create some resistance, you will not get the check tail light bulbs warning anymore. The proper way to do it is to swap out the LCM for an LCM IV and then code it to your car, and that will recognize the LED’s. The way you have it is the hackjobbers way of doing things. Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Its very sporadic. You really have to sit around watching for them. I have superbright LED's in the reverse lights. When I drive at night they flash occaisionally. I thought I had them sorted out years ago with some custom LCM III hackery but it was a fail in the end so I've just sucked it up because I love my blazing superbright backup lights too much. Just scored a IV tho' and need to get that stuffed in soon...

I’ve seen the other lights flash...I have 18w Cree spots hooked up to the frogs and they look like a camera flash every now and then. Same thing with my front turn signals. The tails don’t, though. I think it’s more likely my LCM is messed up (or has been messed with).
Some modern LED bulbs have resistors built in just FWIW
