Hi guys,
question regarding the round black and white non-return valve (or vacuum control valve) that is part of the emission system. It is located at the back of the engine bay, behind the intake manifold close to the firewall. #6 in the diagram.

There is a black side and a white side. Which way does it have to go on? Because it fits on both ways. But I'm sure it is directional. White side to the tube that goes to the intake manifold? Or other way around?
Thanks guys.
Because, think about it, it's a vacuum control valve, a non return valve, that bleeds whatever into the intake manifold.
I want to say the black end goes to the manifold. Try sucking on it. Whichever side allows vacuum through the valve goes toward the manifold. If you install it the other way it will be closed all the time and nothing downstream from the valve would function.
Got it! Black side towards the manifold.
Thanks guys, as usual -> You Rock!
