    E39 coilovers

Hello all I'm looking to lower my car on coilovers, but I absolutely do not want to sacrifice ride comfort. I need something smooth and sturdy. I'm not looking to cheap out either but not break the bank at the same time. I drive a 01 540i/6. I'm not against used coilovers either as long as they're not cooked.

ST Coilovers, reasonable price. Composite rings that doesn't seize. Good comfort and high range of adjustment. Can buy replacements parts separately and even upgrade to KW stainless dampers if i'm not mistaken.

BC coilovers are nice, they ride pretty smooth and have lots of replacement parts available.

I have the KW Street Comforts which are pretty comfortable considering that the car is lowered and on 19's (very low profile).

I am not sure if they are still available or if they have developed something new.

Any coil-over will sacrifice the ride.

If you want the stock ride, then you need to install the stock shocks and struts (Sachs) .

Looking for an E39 belly pan , passenger front inner fender liner …
