Passenger side windows not working after GM swap..

Hey everyone, so I thought I was perfectly mechanically inclined enough to swap the capicators in my general module in my 1991 850i and I was darn close. I swapped the caps, I'm pretty handy with soldering iron as I'm an AV tech by trade. I put in the new caps put everything back together and now both the passenge side windows won't roll up or down. I hear the relay in the truck tying to engage, I'm not certain if there is a fuse for just the passenger side, but looked at all in the boot and under the hood. Everything else controlled b the GM works as should. Moon roof, driver side windows, wipers are all functional.

Im happy to admit defeat and take my car to the BMW specialist down the road, but I'd rather fix it myself.

I was was worried I may have burnt up the board so I purchased another GM from same year And model 850i, installed it and came up with the same issue, leading me to believe that I successfully swapped the caps but caused another issue.

I did not disconnect the batteries when I did the GM Swap.

Any help is is much appreciated!!!

I believe there is a door module in the passenger side door itself.

Check fuses 31 and 33 in the trunk.

Is it both right windows or just one ? Have you checked the window motor itself ? I would try putting power to it directly see if it works. Or try operating the windows open close from the drivers door lock with door closed put your key in the door lock hold it a few seconds in the unlock position, it should roll the windows down and also open the sunroof. That will also rule out a bad window switch.

Yes i found out what it was, after a simple fuse swap, the problem flipped sides.... So i knew it was the fuse. Which after inspection and a test appeared good.... But was in fact bad not allowing full continuity.
