E31's ROCK SHARKFEST !

Our own BMW CCA E31 Chapter Newsletter Editor, Roger Wray, brought home the metal at the recently concluded 2019 SHARKFEST !
His E31 Alpina won : First Place Super Clean; first place People's Choice; and first place Best In Show. WOW!

Congratulations to Roger- these acknowledgements are a testament to the long hours & work spent bringing his Alpina to this extraordinary level!

Congrats Roger and Marsha! That has got to be the finest 8 in the USA. And then it's Alpina also! Sherry and I sure regret missing Sharkfest. Just didn't work out with schedule. You are the real sick puppy! Beautiful.

Thanks Henry and Gregg. We were very honored and humbled to receive all 3 awards. There were 16 beautiful E31's on the lawn, along with E9's and all the E24's there.

I have asked Kai to send me the results, as there were several awards given to E31's. As soon as I get the results from Kai I will post everyone's names with their E31 awards so I don't get anything out of order.

George and Sue Whiteley won First Place in the Clean class with their CSi effectionatelly named "Big Red", which coincidentally will be in the BMW Foundation representing E31's in BMW's Celebration of 50 Years Display for the next 9 months. If you get a chance, stop by, and congrats to them for being selected as the representative for the E31 in this great presentation.

Congrats Rodger! (and the other winners of course). I haven't seen it up close, but from the pics it is one of (if not the) nicest 8ers I have every seen. It is the perfect color for an 8. Especially that interior!
