Obd2 M52 swap into OBD1 e36

I have a 92 BMW 318i (obd1)
I just purchased an M52 with complete wiring harness. The motor and harness came out of another e36 that was obd2. Was wondering what all needs to be done to converted over to work in my car.
Any help is much appreciated

you'll need to convert it o obd1 for starters which includes a complete engine wiring harness, red label 413 ecu would be the easiest ecu to run, obd1 sensors from an m50/s50, m50 intake manifold might as well be done while you're at it.

If your car is a standard you can use the current transmission.

It's much easier to convert the M52 to OBD1 than to convert the whole chassis side to OBD2...
