Hi there,
On my 2004 X5, 3.0i, I've got the engine light on. The car starts and runs perfectly fine. I took out the DISA and Idle valves. Cleaned them both, tested Disa, flap works fine with the hole closed and open; the Idle valve rattles fine after cleaning. It was kind of stuck prior to cleaning. Put everything back on cleared the code P1092, and P0420, started the engine, after 5 or ten minutes of driving the light came back on.
The full scan is show below for before and after cleaning. I use the Foxwell scanner for BMW, slow but thorough. and I still have the P1092 & P0420.
Any help is much appreciated.
