    Yokohama ADVAN A052 Air Pressures...

Anyone have experience with the new A052? I'm looking for autocross air pressures.

4-5 psi higher than what you were running on RE-71's is what I'm hearing. Assuming this is not a pinched tire.

Yeah, I heard they need a higher pressure to prevent rollover, that would put me near 40psi front, 38 rear...easier to bleed air down, than to add air.

Jeez, that's a lot of pressure. I tend to run in the low 30s with the RS-4s (not a pure autoX tire though).

The good part of set up is that you can experiment yourself. Start high, bleed down to a good medium for you. Don't be sad that you waste 10 runs setting pressures.

That's what I've been thinking, will probably start a bit lower...I might add that I'm using a 15 year old air pressure gauge that reads about 3 psi high...

Really interested on your feedback with these tires. Been really curious bout A052’s and only thing holding me back is price. But I felt that way about AD08R’s initially but they turned out to be the best tire I ever ran for DE and light time trial. My go to tire since has been NT01 but I’d like something more street friendly.

Don't know how much help I can be as I autox the car and our courses are very short, high 20 to low 30 seconds in a pretty warm climate. A friend just returned from the Nationals and the advice he returned with was 36f/34r psi to start with...

Dropped the pressures to 35/33 today and they felt even better...great tires.
