There’s only one company that does that for the S52; RMS.

The newer style RMS, not the older Dinan copy.

Really? What about all the old kits out there? So RMS is the only one who sells one currently as an item, is that what you mean?

So it's stronger, or better as far as quality?

RMS is the answer to your questions for both past (when he switched to cnc style) and current.

Vf offers the least chance of belt issues. Add an intercooler setup, and a smaller pulley you have a nice setup.

RMS offers better belt slip control with their race tensioner setup. VF scores the lowest in every category.

The belt wrap looks like it grips more of the pulley then any other kit.

It may, but VF has little upgradeability, RMS does it best. RMS and Dinan are your only options for big power with Vortech based chargers.

Yes. Not apples to apples to i6, but I modded my pulley set ups on my VF 540. Running 16 psi on only a 6 rib belt with no issues. Been running it for years now. Pulley wrap is the key to get the traction.

post 36 starts dets. w/a intercooler added later in thread.

Not sure of the limitations on with the i6 kits, but some clever thinking should be able to get a better pulley set up.

That is an awesome mod you did there for the SC pulley.

I like the belt wrap mod. Maybe there is space to do that on the E36. But does the M62 have a bigger crank pulley than the S52?

VF S52 crank pulley is the stock accessory drive pulley and is more like 5”. Big difference. The old RMS stage 2 S52 extended dedicated drive crank pulleys were 6.0”

Ok. But 8 vs 6 cyl.

    That's certainly an S52/M52 setup__and Very Impressive!

In the poll, I clicked other, but that's just because I'm a much bigger fan of the positive displacement twinscrew compressors. Sourced 2nd-hand, either the Active Autoworks or Eurosport setups turn up from time to time (I've done several 2nd, 3rd generation swaps). Unfortunately, both brands combined totaled less than sixty (<60) units ever on the market.

Correct I looked around the website, and found it.

Well ES TS a unicorn. Where as the others many kits were made/still made.
