Hello all,
I have a 2012 535 with 64k miles, I've recently been getting a drivetrain error under hard acceleration over 80 mph. other than that it will not do it. I have read stories of other people having this problem and it throwing a cel at them and going into limp mode, however the issue with mine is that it doesn't feel, sound, or drive any different when this happens. No CEL or anything unusual. and when I restart the car it is gone right away. very confusing. so with that it is under warranty for only a little bit longer and I got it from an Acura dealership about an hour away from my house I brought it to them, they said it was healthy and there was nothing unusual or wrong with it and that there were also no codes. any ideas? please answer

I’m having the same problem. For me, it happened on a couple occasion while I was driving on the highway in cruise control. It only happens in Sport mode between 75-85mph. I dont get the CEL however, I do get a code.
I have 2 different OBD2 apps BlueDriver and BimmerLink. The BlueDriver didn’t really tell me much however, the BimmerLink app is catered for BMW’s. The code I got was: “120308: 0X120308 BOOST PRESSURE CONTROL, PLAUSIBILITY: PRESSURE TOO LOW”. My guess is that you’ll get the same thing based on what you wrote and the AC dealership may not have the vehicle specific tools to properly diagnose the code.
