    Temperature control

My car is either full cold or full hot. When I move the temp wheel it stays hot until it goes to full cold at the lowest setting. It's always done this since I've owned it (9 years). I cleaned the wheels when I swapped out the microswitch, but it didn't do anything.

It kinda takes the automatic out of climate control.

It does. I have a spare circuit board from a car that I swear had working temp control that I am going to swap in to try. It has a bad microswitch but I bought a spare to replace it a while ago and never did. Guess it's time to try that. Having AC run continuously in the summer isn't such a big deal but having heat running all-or-nothing is going to get old fast.
