Well, my 03 JCW Mini is paid off and has a shiny new sprintex stage II blower in it. But I go to a car show and see a lovely z3 coupe and now I am really, really missing the view behind the wheel of that car. I never got sick of that hood bulge. My wife adores my mini and her clubman is kind of a turd. It's mostly paid off and we could get rid of it for about $8000 easily.
Online searches for these cars are super spotty right now. I see S54's with like 1400 miles selling for over 45 grand, but I also see S52's in the 19-45k range from dealers. Does anyone have any leads on anyone selling an M Coupe (either engine) in the $20-30k range that is under 80-100k miles and very clean with no rear subframe or diff mount problems (or have had the issue fixed) I'm all about kyalami orange interiors, but ostrich is my second choice. I'm not picky about an exterior color as long as it doesn't come with the basic black interior. Don't care about a sunroof.
Since I got out of the z3 world about ten years ago, have any new horror problems popped up that aren't the typical rear subframe issues? How's parts availability these days?

2002 M Coupe (built 2-2-2)
I don't have a facebook anymore - is there any contact info listed for this car?

It's high on miles but I'm damned interested.
I love the word choice of whomever changed my thread title

thanks guys, sending Dmitiry an email right now.'
I am not in a hurry to buy, the market seems fairly stable (if increasing in value a bit) and I'm waiting on the terms of this new union contract before I dedicate myself to pulling the trigger on another Coupe. Mine was dead-nuts reliable, and I'd be looking for another daily. I adore my JCW, it's an absolute riot with the stage 2 twinscrew upgrade, and has a couple more seats than a coupe, but I never, ever, ever got tired of walking out to my M.

Hey man! Welcome back! 10 years...wild.
Welcome back to Hotel California.
/.randy
PM sent... Mine may be available when your ready
Replied - jesus that car has low miles.
Man I hope this union contract goes like I hope, that'll seal the deal on a coupe for me - sounds like this first offer will result in a strike, but we should get close to what we want.

This one seemed like a pretty good deal for the mileage and condition - posted a few hours ago
Looks like a killer deal but the black leather interior is really kind of a turn-off.
MTNbkr's car has all of 35k miles and has white on ostrich leather which is my #2 interior, and dimitry's car is kind of high miles but has a bonkers number of mods, set up exactly how I wanted my coupe to be.

But black leather means its a perfect candidate for a custom M fabric interior
Yes, wheel is sick! I’m in no rush to sell, let’s talk when your ready. Aloha

He still does them. He's down in Florida now. Look him up and send him an email--I don't believe prices are allowed to be discussed here.
MatteBlackCoupeDude let me know if your in the market for a coupe. I’ll be posting mine very soon. You showed interest so I thought I would let you know first.
Aloha Jeff
