My 2000 Z-3 roadster fuse box diagram has been mangled by a short in the box causing the existing diagram in the lid of the box to be unreadable. I need to get a picture of one to replace mine. It has a Large E next to the fuse box location. It appears that there are several types. I will try to attach a picture of my box lid. Would appreciate if someone who has similar diagram to send me a picture of same. IMG_0980.JPG
Here's mine; it's from a 1998 non M.
Thanks, i had searched google and had not found one.
I don't think the 1998 and 2000 models fuse boxes are 100% compatible.
Different engines, and some different components.
Which engine does your 2000 Z3 have?
-Abel
- E36 328is ~210-220whp: Lots of Mods.
- 2000 Z3: Many Mods.
- 2003 VW Jetta TDI Manual 47-50mpg
- 1999 S52 Estoril M Coupe
- 2014 328d Wagon, self-tuned, 270hp/430ft-lbs
- 2019 M2 Competition, self-tuned, 504whp
- 2016 Mini Cooper S
I have a 2000 Z3 roadster 2.8. I can take a picture for you when I get home today
It appears that the label is still available, you could just get a replacement and be done with it:
https://www.oembmwminidiscountparts....el-71236901564
NOTE: I used 01/01/2000 as a build date in realoem.com to get the part number (71 23 6 901 564) so VERIFY by doing the same process, only inputting your VIN instaed of the date.
All fuses diagrams for all model years can be found in beginning of electric troubleshooting manuals, available here under Electric Troubleshooting Manuals section:

Anyone has an idea what is "Overheat control (only for Japan)" fuse used for?
Here's the one I promised. This is from my 2000 BMW z3 2.8 Prod. 03/2000 Automatic
