    5 speed swap

    2 questions. Does anyone on here have a really good link for doing a 5 speed swap. 2002 325 coupe. Also. I have a couple getrag 5 speeds laying around from an e34 525 5 speed swap. Will this transmission work for e46?

    The old transmission will fit but there’ll be other issues:
    - correct gearing (the ratios will be different)
    - linkage
    - driveshaft length.

    The differential will matter only because the ratios are different.
