    Survey for modified throttle bodies

I am thinking about modifiying Throttle bodies to have a 2mm larger bore and flapper allowing more airflow. What are your thoughts?? . Cost would be Probably $125 plus return shipping

Sure you are not referring to the throttle body? Just wondering how that would be done on a AFM since it has a rectangular cross section where the flapper is. Also, what would that do to the output/calibration for air flow?

Not enough of an engineer to do the calculations . What I will be doing is to take the spare I have and having the mods done and see how it physically looks. If i am satis fied at that point I will go ahead with the project. It is a month away as i won't go to the machine shop until I pick up the latest batch of oil filter conversions in a few weeks. i will do this on any Motronic throttle body.
