I am now the proud owner of a 2006 330ci convertible 6 speed which I am loving to drive after trading in a 2011 Tucson. My only regret is the Hyundai had Bluetooth and Sirius radio.... the BMW nope .. neither. So my first question to any one who can help is how can I get either or both at a reasonable cost.
Thank you in advance for any help
I think your local audio store is the best solution. The electronics in these cars can go south on you in a hurry. These things are better left to the professionals IMHO. I know I would never attempt to change out the Head Unit.

Ecstuning sells an auxiliary port if your are interested in going wired. I use this solution in my zhp.
For Bluetooth you could see if your car had the oem module or go find one on eBay or junk yard.
There are plenty of modules that connect to the CD-changer wiring on the stock headunit that provide Bluetooth, USB, SD-card, whatever you fancy.
On eBay look for the brand 'yatour' (search for 'Yatour E46'). Other (more expensive) brands are Dension and GROM Audio. That's the neatest option imo.
They all come with plugs you stick in between the original plugs on the headunit so no need for wire splicing etc.
Your car’s head unit has an extra connector at the rear. That connector can be used to integrate a Bluetooth interface device. Also, there are auxiliary +Bluetooth interface devices that connect via the CD changer cables located in the left side if the trunk. Go to E46Fanatics forum. It has all the info you need.
In addition to what the other members suggested, I would also suggest to check out Crutchfield's site - they have a great configurator where you plug in your specific make/model and the populated results are only those that will work with your particular car. I've included the link below. Hope this helps you out a bit.

Also GROM sells Bluetooth interface solutions.
You could just replace the entire dash unit with an after market set up and then have blue tooth, apple play etc.
Thank you for all the replys....now I have to investigate
