Window Regulator

I’m trying to replace the window regulator in my new e46 (bought it for 450$ broken subframe 180k mi) and the bolt holding the window to the track wont come out. I’m thinking my 8mm socket is to worn out because it wont grip the bolt. Anything I can do to get it out without a new socket?

Drill it out

You can buy an easy out bolt extractor at Home Depot.

Irwin makes very good bolt extractors to include sets for this scenario.
