    Favorite Toe In Specs?

    I just had my front tires on '99 Z3 replaced with the same Conti's as before and the front end aligned. Now I sometimes get a slight shake on deaceleration that wasn't there before. The toe was set to 0.31 deg which is about mid spec. Are there any more favored settings out there or should I be looking for the problem elsewhere like wheel balance? No shaking at speed.

    I'd have a close look at the control arm bushings; the problem's not going to be your toe spec.
