    PLEASE HELP E46 bi-xenon/halogen headaches

vehicle in question: 2002 BMW 330XI

So i picked up the car for $1,100 it currently had bi-xenon headlights installed, and as i began to make my repair checklist to prep the car for resale i noticed the low beams were non functional, and the high beams only functioned during flash to pass(pulling on stalk)
so to answer some of the questions that are sure to follow

    -high beams:
    -function during flash to pass
-if i turn on the fogs and push stalk forward the blue high beam indicator in dash lights up and the fogs shut off
    -low beams:
-after swapping headlights with a different set of xenon headlights the low beams function
    -problems i'm realizing
-when i pulled the the donor headlights i realized there were more plugs than my car, figured the additional harness that the donor car had was for self leveling function
    (uh nope dumb ass)

    so here's my theory:
some not so great person may have swapped out the lcm, reason for believing this is that since the high beam indicator in dash lights up and fogs turn off when the stalk is pushed forward along with the fact that the halogens don't light up at this time, tells me the lcm programming may be correct, and the stalk is functioning correctly

they maybe swapped out headlights as well from halogens to xenon's

and the fact that there are only 2 wiring harness plugs at the headlights mounting locations

i may be able to grab the correct harness and likely another lcm from the donor car the headlights came from(hopefully)

as it turns out the lcm stores the vehicles vin number and when it doesnt match a little dot appears near the mileage on the instrument cluster, and sure as hell my 330xi has it

and both my 328 and 530 do not

Plugs that are in your hand go to AL ballast and high beam halogen bulb. I am pretty sure gray is to ballast and black into high beam. Your car will probably not have plugs for a. self leveling and b. high beam bixenon signal wires (small 3 wire connector with 2 wires populated).

Look at your rear view mirror, there is a plastic clamshell covering the mounting leg. If it is a slim clamshell - than somebody changed out your headlight switch. If it is a larger clamshell that covers rain/light sensor - your headlight switch is original to your car. I believe (not 100% sure) that on these cars, there is odometer coding within that switch.
