E46 seat occupancy sensor question

Airbag-light is on and diagnostic says it is the passenger seat occupancy sensor. If I find a used seat, will it work if I just replaced the whole seat?
Will be a lot cheaper and easier.

Hello and welcome to the forum! You can do that, but there will be the chance that the replacement seat's sensor will go bad as well. I believe the sensor is ~$100.

Go on eBay and find a seat occupancy sensor bypass. It is the cheapest and easiest route to fix the issue
