I bought a 97 540 for 200 bucks + 200 for a tow cause i thought it may be a cool project if i threw a clutch and throw out bearing in or i would part it and make some money over time on craigslist and ebay.
It has new guides before the car sat in 2013, how ever when i bought it the trans and all hardware was in trunk because they never got around to it? idk. But yeah it's been sitting 5 years and also the body was nice silver and some goof spray bombed? it black. tomorrow im gonna throw a battery in and see if it runs and how well. There is no exhaust ( its in trunk lol ) so just headers on there i think and maybe a little pipe.
hood won't open all cables have been removed not sure how to get in now??
Thanks for viewing.
I'll bet you also take in homeless dogs.

I don't know if you "can" but you certainly "may". You have my permission...

If you put cheap parts on your car, you will soon have a cheap parts car.
Lol i just didnt wana see it get crushed eddy!
Parting it if anyone needs anything pm me. Got some one interested in the manual conversion stuff already. Cluster sold on ebay already. Rims pending pick up.
It does have a heated wheel which is in nice shape!
Lol I'm bringing one back that I got for 350 and a Aaa membership to tow it. Car had butchered tail light harness for celis lights, cut out dsp harness but amp in butchered headlight harness and about 2 pounds of electric tape, not a heat shrink in sight with shitty soldering joints. Dude took it over a curb broke the rear subframe control arm off and bent up the front right suspension..slowly bringing it back as funds allow. Finally drove it around the hood lol.
Another dog rescue!
