Camshaft not synced after timing chain replacement and startup, cam sprocket?

Hi, i have changed the timing chain on my e91 2006 320i and have an issues.

i have done everything with the special tools needed and tightened it all with the suggested torque ( 20nm + 2x 90 for cam bolts) checked so everything is synced BUT the engine is running bad.

ive removed the cover again and when turning it back to TDC the inlet camshaft is out of position, what could cause this issue? ive noticed that when im moving the crank by hand back and forth the sensor plate on the inlet cam has a 2+3mm play when i change direction. is the cam sprocket faulty?

    thanks

Did you ever resolve this issue? I am having the same problem on my 330i, after replacing a head gasket.
