Hey all,
I am getting my SES light on every few weeks. It stays on for about a day, then goes away. It tends to come on when I am on the freeway. I finally bought a diagnostic tool and an app for my I phone. This is what it told me today.
P1092
Fuel System 1 status: closed-loop, using O2 sensor to feedback to determine fuel mix
Fuel System 2 status: closed-loop, using O2 sensor to feedback to determine fuel mix
Calculated Load Value: 25.88%
Engine Coolant temp: 204.8 deg F
Short term fuel % trim-Bank 1: -1.56%
Long term fuel % trim-Bank 1: 4.69%
Short term fuel % trim -Bank 2: -.78%
Long term fuel % trim-Bank 2: 6.25%
Engine RPM: 2602 RPM
Vehicle speed: 71.46 MPH
Ignition Timing advanced for #1 Cylinder: 29deg
Intake air Temp: 102.2 deg F
MAF rate: 3.36 lb/min
Absolute throttle position 14.9%
I have rebuilt the DESA, replaced the upper intake boot, and both before cat O2 sensors.
Any advice on getting that SES to stay off?
Try to reset/clear adaptations.
MIKYZZ4, that was done about 4 months ago, before the DESA was done, as it was showing fuel trim codes then. Do you think clearing them again will help? If so, what seems to be going on here?
Try and clear adaptations again, it may work similar to this:
