My 95 740i has great original paint. I'm kind of anal when it comes to perfect shine. When I look closely into the paint, I see lots of swile marks and factory orange peel. I heard mention of a "paint correction" procedure that I'm not used to. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get my finish to be perfect when the reflection shows exactly what is reflected, say by a light etc. Thanks for any help.
Lets get the party started before it's my bedtime.
Too much typing for me to explain,
but you can use this link for excellent detailing supplies and expert advice, as they also sponsor this section of our forum,

Spend some time on youtube.
Autogeek.net, chemicalguys.com, detailersdomain.com,
Any of those places will have the supplies and knowledge to get you the results you are looking for. YouTube is great too. Swirl marks are easy to get out. A machine polisher, the right pads and polish will take them out. Orange peel generally requires wet sanding which I would suggest leaving to a professional unless you have a beater car you can practice on.
Any chance you were able to resolve this? Experiencing the same here
