Paint correction of buffing out, explain to me

My 95 740i has great original paint. I'm kind of anal when it comes to perfect shine. When I look closely into the paint, I see lots of swile marks and factory orange peel. I heard mention of a "paint correction" procedure that I'm not used to. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get my finish to be perfect when the reflection shows exactly what is reflected, say by a light etc. Thanks for any help.
Lets get the party started before it's my bedtime.

Any of those places will have the supplies and knowledge to get you the results you are looking for. YouTube is great too. Swirl marks are easy to get out. A machine polisher, the right pads and polish will take them out. Orange peel generally requires wet sanding which I would suggest leaving to a professional unless you have a beater car you can practice on.

What color is your car...lot of B.S. info out there..also lot of bad products...I have done quite a few corrections, on bmw's and other cars, every paint is different, so what you learn online, may not apply to your paint.
