Those are common rust areas but that'l highlights where it goes when left untreated. I imagine it's spent most of the recent years out in the elements and rusted out very quickly.

Finally an e21 for sale on BAT. Nice Baltic Blue ‘83 with no reserve. I wouldn’t be ready to part with that just yet.
Interesting to see the missing sunroof knob in photo 179. I have the same issue, I think it’s the only missing part I’ve found on my car.
Ive been designing and 3D printing knobs. It works great so far, snaps on with a bit of force and spins freely. My printer is low-res PLA so I plan to have it printed elsewhere in a smooth softer durometer material.
