Doesn't look bad. Looks ripe for the picking from a 2002 guy...

I hate that everything is going to Facebook. The involvement is great but it's terrible at retaining data relevant to the end user. Great at retaining data for their advertising customers and law enforcement agencies however.

So all the right things.

Years ago there was a lowrider E21 on craigslist. I wish I would have saved the pictures but I did find these posts talking about it. Maybe someone else from that time has them saved.

No Reserve: 1970 BMW 2002
Current Bid: $7,600 Ends In: 6 days
This 1970 BMW 2002 is finished in Colorado Orange and powered by a 2.0L inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car was reportedly placed in storage by its previous owner in the 1980s, and remained there until the seller’s purchase in 2017. Subsequent work included a braking system overhaul along with a differential rebuild, new ignition components, wheels, and tires. Modifications consist of a Weber carburetor, Ireland Engineering suspension components, and a pair of Corbeau seats. This “roundie” 2002 is offered at no reserve with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

1981 323i , same owner had it up for sale about a year ago for $10k, looks like he dropped it down to $7500...
Don't have any more pictures. Unless the engine and interior are thrashed this feels like a good deal.

You seen this one?
1970 BMW 2000 Neue Klasse vintage classic - $8895 (San Francisco)
Here we have the not so common predecessor to the forever iconic BMW 2002. BMW started this 4 door body style in 1962, and made it up through 1972. One does not see many of these within the U.S,, because they are scarce, which makes them unique, no matter the condition. It is a fun car to cruise around in, and get ready for questions when driving it. This car would be great for an enthusiast, independent shop, track pit crew, or BMW dealership. I’m only selling it in order to finish up another project.
Exterior –
This one was left outside for some years, and there is some rust to prove it, while retaining Baikal Blue paint. The pictures tell the tale. The nose took a hit at some point as well. This themed version was created for BMWs 100th anniversary happenings during Monterey Car Week. This stemmed from having two historical images representing Sport Service and assistance vehicles. We embraced this spirit and have used this stock cruiser for hauling parts, engines, and for just rolling around in. It’s not speedy, and has some bumps and bruises, but it will get you down the road while having fun!
This example is rolling on 14” stock steel wheels, with newer Bridgestone tires, and stock hubcaps. The headlights are the U.S. spec quad version. This car has a sunroof, but is not working at this time.
Interior –
All in all, I would say that the interior is in good shape. The door panels, dash top, and seats show very well, and are black in color. The gauges (besides odometer) work, hazards, led blinkers, and headlights function. The windshield wipers and horn aren’t working at this time, and I’ve not investigated.
Engine / Drivetrain –
Single carb 4 cylinder BMW m10 engine producing around 100hp. This example has a 4 speed and shifts w/o any problems. 4th gear at 4k rpm will result in a cruising speed of 70 to 75 mph. Mileage is unknown as the odometer is not working. It runs smoothly, for a 49-year-old car, and does not smoke, etc.
I have a title and it is registered in CA. through April 2020.

I remember passing up a chance to get a nice looking white one of these, with just a little rust, not much, and not running, for only $500 back around 1998.

Wow! That's a cool car.
Probably should have started one of these threads for e21's and one for others.
If you post up every 2002 that's goes up on BaT this thread is going to be 100 pages long by the end of the year.

I get it's a euro 323. Ut 235k miles is a lot. Maybe closer to 6k?
