Hi Folks,
I was looking at a 2014 335 that has an M Performance label on the engine. Does anyone know what that means? Is it a good thing, a waste, or a problem creator?
Thanks!
I would say it's a good thing,
but then I ask, WHY are you considering purchasing a BMW?

MIKYZZ4, I have owned 2 BMW's in the past and my 1984 E30 was fun to drive. I'm looking for a car that my wife and I can both enjoy driving. The choices are abundant compared to what was available back in the 1980's and I am trying to understand.
After I purchased my 318i, I regretted not getting the 6 cylinder, since the 4 cylinder lacked acceleration, and if you turned on the A/C, forget it. So, I'm hoping this group can help me better understand and make the right choice.
Thanks!

Thanks!
With or without it this car has lots of power and torque down low. My 335 F30 was fast. My current 340 with M performance and sound kit is just stupid fast and sounds like a beast out of hell when you get on it, yet tame when you are just cruising.
If the question is more power a good thing, the answer depends. Can you keep your left foot restrained?!
