My apologies in advance! I know this has probably been talked to death before, but, the more I read the more confused I get! Need help for my Z3 roadster 2.5 ABS light! I bought a B800 and it indicated table 38, code 14 left side airbag sensor. I ponied up the cash and replaced it. My B800 now says Table 38, with the following codes 03,14,FO, 14,02,16,16,- -! I suspect that this car may have had a wreck although car fax does not show one. I have had both seats out and checked all connections and everything looked good. Needless the say, the B800 will not clear the codes. Should I send in the air bag control module for a reset? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Sensors for this little critter are expensive!

Which exact sensor did you replace and what part number did it have? Used or new?

It was the left side airbag sensor, P/N 65776905454. It was a new part.
That's crazy, next time go to eBay. I had a defective side airbag sensor passenger side, put a used one in it for 35$ and it works.

I guess that the F0 code is the death bell. I know of a place that resets the codes and all for 50 bucks, so I guess that is the next step. Thanks!
Do some more searching and asking on this site before spending money. ..... You need a way to clear codes. You can download and use INPA if you are willing: http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...xperimentation ...... Or you can buy a tool for under $30. Sorry, I can't find it at the moment. Maybe someone else will chime in. .... Found it! I don't know it, but it was recommended on this site: https://www.ebay.com/itm/16223391199...rue&rmvSB=true Also, read this: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...ly-found-a-fix! .... and this might help also: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...=seat+tilt+mod

Abel (328 Power 04) gave you the definitive answer to your problem in post #2. Follow the link he provided and then follow his recommendations.
Are you still doing resets?
I can, as best as my time allows.
