    Question Help! 2009 BMW 335XI

Hello everyone, Im new here, and hopefully y'all will be able to help me.

So, lately my car has had the standard "Engine Malfunction, Reduced Power" that everyone knows is the hpfp so im getting that replaced tomorrow.
But, my car has been super jerky lately, RPMs jumping up and down, really bad idle shakes back and forth. And shakes when accelerating.
So, I decided why not replace the spark plugs and i did, SES light still on, and the car a little less shaky.

About 2 weeks ago I got a diag done, and i got these codes:
29F3, 28A7, 3100, 3DFF, 29D0, and 29CC. I've done some research on these codes and i know replacing the hpfp would take care of some of them. I know 29D0 is a misfire is cylinder 4.

So before i move on and replace the ignition coils and the Vanos solenoids is there something i should be looking for?
My engine has a slight ticking noise when running. Im hoping it's easy like the coils or vanos solenoids and not the injectors . *Crosses fingers*.

Any help from you gys would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Recently bought the JB4, waiting on the mail ! Next is downpipes and intake, and i think im set.

    0x29F3 0x29F3 fuel low-pressure sensor, electrical

    is where I would start.

A new fresh set of coils is good to install too.

Do NOT install JB4 before fixing up your car and making sure everything is in perfect shape. Maintenance before mods!

Yes, of course. That was my plan maintenance before mods always.

Thank you for the reply I didn't really think about that one. Definitely going to look into it now.

What are you using to scan the car?
Some of those errors are not from the engine module.

Hey just thought i'd give an update. Replaced the ignition coils and the car is running better then ever. Still have a SES light but i'm thinking once I reset the ecu it should go away.
Experiencing long cranks when cold starting it but im assuming that's the hpfp. Replacing the vanos solenoids tomorrow to get rid of some minor idle shaking.
Excited for bmw to replace my hpfp so I can finally use my car to the full potential.

Got my Jb4 and DCI's in the mail can't wait to install.

Side note I went to a autoshop and had them do a scan on why I still have a ses light on and apparently I have hella codes. Misfire in a bunch of cylinders and obviously that's not the case.

    Thanks for the help btw

Have you pulled your injectors to see if they are fouled up on the ends? This can throw codes too. You may just need to run a little Sea Foam over the course of a couple of tanks of gas to get rid of the carbon build up. Just a note: I have same year and model. Once I put the JB4 on, my car would go into limp mode on any PSI over 14. Keep throwing boost leak code. After going nuts trying to find the leak I changed the boost solenoids and boom Im screaming around with 18psi with no issue. Enjoy, this is really fun car to build.

I haven't pulled out the injectors yet im kinda worried about the gasket when taking them out. I think the only time i'd ever take out the injectors is to replace them entirely. Yeah, i think im going to replace my boost solenoids eventually because i'm pretty sure the last person that owned this car didnt take very good care of it. And, i'm in absolute love with it. Im taking a trip for 47 days so i won't be able to work on it but once i get back everything is gonna be fixed. Replacing all the vacuum lines with silicone and new boost solenoids, and replacing bits of plastic trim on the underbody and in the front that were broken before i owned it.

Thanks for the feedback, and btw what are some other issues you ran into with your bimmer?
