Hello All ~
Been loving my 2014 428i with xDrive. However, the CEL light came on and I stopped by O'Reilley on my way home from work to have it read. The dude told me it was the Thermostat Heater Core Control Module open circuit. The car was out of warranty in June and has 50,800 miles on it. Will be calling the dealer on Monday. Any insight on what to expect.
Thanks much.
Do you have the code number?
Ideally you'd need to get BMW manufacturer codes read to have a better idea of what component (especially if their interpretation is wrong), not P codes.

Find a shop with a proper BMW code reading tools (or buy your own, if you're mildly computer savvy), save the codes and get help from here for what is likely to be problematic.
