    E83 X3 Winter Tires

I'm looking to buy some winter tires for the wife's x3. Anyone have advice on where to start? Should I look at used BMW rims and buy the tires separately? Any idea if the below wheels would work on a e83? I'm not very versed on the wheel/tire world.

    Any help is appreciated.

Those are for the F25 and F26 but the size and offset is pretty close to what came factory on the e83. They will stick out 3mm more than factory 8" wide e83 wheels, should be fine.
If I lived in a state where I needed winter tires, I would have a separate set of wheels as well.

Thanks for the response. Would I need to do anything to fit the wheels or just throw some tires on and and I'm good to go?

I think I'm probably going to buy the below. Can you confirm these will fit my x3? Thanks.

The wheels will fit, but the tires are too tall. They could scrub. They're meant for the e53 X5. You would need a 255/45/18 or equivalent height (not 55).
