Hi guys. last year I bought bilstein pss for my e36. initially I mounted the original top mount, then due to a difference in camber, I was forced to look for specific camber plates for springs like OEM or bilstein. on ebay I bought these used crunchy vorshlag camber plates that I thought went well, but seeing them assembled, I have some doubts. the original rubber that lies below the original plate measures from side to side 14.3cm; the one supplied with the camber plates measures 13.3cm. instead the spring externally measures 14.1cm. I'm afraid the spring can come out of its seat. what do you say?
The 1995M3 and all non-M 36 share the same upper spring diameter.
The 1996+M3 has a slightly smaller upper spring diameter.
You could have a spring ‘hat’ for the latter and are trying to mate with the early M3/non-M spring diameter.

the guy who sold them to me said he had bilstein shock absorbers and springs h & r sport. now I ask him if he had a m3 post 96. mine is not a ///m
Just from looking at them, they look like the smaller 1996+ M3 spring perches.

yes guys. I asked the seller and he mounted them on 97 m3. I will cut the seat of the bearing and I will weld it on the non ///M plates. thank you guys, I did not really know this difference
You can buy the proper ‘hats’, from the 1995M3.
