Hello all, I have a 2006 BMW 325I with a crank no start issue. I only have one code coming up from INPA and it is the xAUC sensor for recirculation for the Climate control. The engine cranks, attempts to start, then cuts out after it fires. (DME and CAS are synced.) I can also hear the fuel pump, and i have verified that the fuel pump it is running while cranking via INPA. Previously, the car used to die when at low rpms / coming up to a stop light / parking. Not sure if that helps any.
Not sure what to do from here. All help is appreciated!
I have a video available of attempting to start it here.

Have you checked for intake air leaks?

Will check tonight after I get off work. Thanks.
can’t find any. Any other suggestions? Tried using carb cleaner and listening for hissing.
You've got to use a smoke machine. Spray, listen, and look method is very poor at discovering deeper leaks. Scanning for codes may give you additional clues (such as valvetronic faults, etc).
You can try the following as a test.
Unplug mass air flow (you will generate an error code), and try to start. If engine runs then you have one of two scenarios:
-vacuum/intake air leaks (most common)
-dead or dying mass air flow sensor (much less common)

Did not start as result of test, I am receiving some codes though.
DME/DDE:
2D5F
2F44
2AD0
2F45
2DC3
2DED
Also the MAF sensor is still disconnected at the time of taking these codes.
Other information; Before when the car was running, I preformed a transmission fluid change and changed the pan. I also replaced the water pump because it was not running and the car was overheating. After changing these the car ran great for the rest of the day, parked it that night, had a huge storm. The next day i went out to my car to take it to work and it did this exact thing. Later after work, i found about an inch of water sitting below my battery. I also noticed that the seal around the rear window was coming off and had it replaced since then. Dried everything out, recharged the battery and reconnected everything. a few days later, and I am here with the same issue. Whether the engine starts or not, it only lasts for a second after clicking the start button. If the cas and ews are desynced, it will crank forever, but if they are synced it only cranks for a second before cutting out. Thanks again for all of your help.

I am really amazed you didn't tell us that in the first post.
Something shorted, and you lost power to something. Check fuses, etc.
These codes are not good to have, I consider these priority:
0x2F44 2F44 EWS manipulation protection
0x2F45 2F45 interface EWS-DME
You can try to reset starting values, maybe you will get it to start.
Others:
0x2AD0 2AD0 gearbox control
0x2D5F 2D5F Reset
0x2DC3 2DC3 monitoring KL 15
0x2DED 2DED Powermanagement, current control

Tried resetting values, Still experiencing the same issue. I have checked all the fuses in the DME box and have not found any blown ones. Any specific ones to check in the glove box? Also I ordered a new wiring harness to see if that fixes it.
Ended up finding the issue. It was a bad coilpack that was causing problems with the dme. Although this might not be the only issue, It hasnt rained in the past two days. Thanks for your help!
Hello did you replace all 6 coil packs or just one. If it was just one did you just remove one at a time to see which one it was? My 06 325i started stalling out of nowhere when I got home from school yet I was still able to drive even though it stalled it started right back up. This was yesterday and this morning it refused to start doing the same thing in your video I worked all day trying to get it to start eventually it did but it still stalled. Letting the car warm up made it better yet it still stalled though it was less frequently. Cold starts where the biggest problem yet it starts after a few tries. Am I encountering the same issue?
I had someone try and start it, spark checking every cylinder. I ended up replacing all 6 anyway.
Thanks for the reply. I started pulling one by one and it was cylinder 4 causing the problem it started right up after I pulled it out in 25 f degree weather It misfires but atleast it works. I'll replace it when I get off of school. Thanks again
Glad you got it figured out.
