I just had mine done. Plan on a couple of hours. Better yet, ask them for a loaner. I ended up with a $65,000 2019 X3.

The work itself takes 20 min to an hour depending on the tech's skill level. What you can't account for is how quickly it gets dispatched to a tech to get worked on. In a busy, high volume shop like mine, cars sometimes sit in the parking lot for an hour before they get worked on. When work is slower, it could be a matter of a few minutes.

    PCV recall

Just got back from the dealer recall PCV valve replaced also they said that I need to change my belt tensioner and belt.
That oil filter housing is leaking and cylinder head cover gasket is leaking I’m assuming that is a valve cover gasket correct me if I’m wrong.
But if it’s a leaking head gasket I don’t think i would’ve made it home.
All things that I can do on the weekend.

Loaner I was driving around in a 2019 530 E-series Hibyrd wasn’t very impressed. Handling was great because it’s a BMW but takeoff not so good :-(

Does anyone know what the part looks like? I wasn't able to find a picture of what they changed even after searching their recall summary report paper they gave me. :/

I did not see a picture. I thinking you can go on realOEM.com and find it there

My daughter's X3 with the N52 engine had the PCV heater replaced. All I can see new is a vac hose down behind the alternator, and shiny new aluminum alternator mounting bolts.
