    Selling my 335i

I need to get my teenage daughter a car so I'm going to sell my 2008 335i hardtop convertible in barbera red. This has been a 2nd vehicle for me and it has very low mileage for its age... 47,200 miles. The condition is excellent, it's been garage kept and well maintained. Pricing seems to be all over the place, anywhere between 7k and 16k. Anyone care to suggest what I should ask for it and how I should go about selling it? Autotrader? Facebook? I'm a bit leery about wackos. I've never sold a car as a private owner, but a dealer told me he wouldn't be able to give me anywhere near what I could sell it for on my own. He suggested I ask $13,500. Thought I would ask the Bimmer experts for advice. Thanks!

Look! Before our very eyes, the future is becoming the past.
