If you do some research the compressor and turbine wheels are different sizes. GT4088r is like 63mm inducer and a GT4088 is 64.5. The exducers on the turbine wheels are different too.Originally Posted by abq

My 64mm borg warner with a HUGE exhaust wheel does not feel laggy at all. Maybe not some peoples cup of tea but big turbos are in theroy easier on the engine, also lets be real we are not trying to acomplish OEM driveability here too. If you were throw your 50mm turbo on and have fun with that.
