Rough on Start up, Valvetronic codes

I have a 2008 328 Coupe. 117,000k's. Its is a little hard to start in the mornings. Runs rough for about 5-10 seconds. Once driven for a few minutes and a few re-starts, no problem. I thought it was a weak battery. Just changed it. Same thing. I got a Carly scanning tool and software. These are the codes it is throwing:
*002A31, 002A47, 002A33, 002A37, 002A35 all related to the Valvetronic. Apparently these codes: 002A1A, 002Acc, 002DE5, 002DE4, all tank level sensor, are related.
    I also have 002F80(Motorabstellzeit plausibility...WTF^).

Am I in need of a new valvetronic component or is there a simple fix (DYI off course).

    Thanks

    Check this out: https://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tec..._Replacing.htm

It notes that the sensor tends to wick oil into the electrical connector. So, I’d buy a can of electrical contact cleaner (CRC or Wurth) and clean both sides of the connector. It should be a fairly easy task, plus it’s relatively (in bmw terms) cheap.

You can try cleaning it first, but it's probably time to replace the eccentric shaft sensor. I've done plenty of them for the exact same symptoms and fault codes.

I've replaced the eccentric shaft sensor. I also replaced all gaskets: valve cover, valvetronic motor gasket, eccentric shaft sensor gasket as well as the oil filter housing gasket...and intake manifold gaskets(which I had to remove to replace the pvc breather hose wich after 10 years, became very brittle a broker when I took off the valve cover). Prior to starting the car, I did what all posts and videos recommended, which is put the power on for 2 30 second stints and shutoff, so the valvetronic motor can "re-learn", whatever that means. Now the car has been stored indoors since mid-November. It started on the 1st try, but ran really really rough. There's what sounds like a knocking sound coming from the valve cover. Would it be possible that one of the 2 breather elements inside the valve cover came off, and is now flying all over the place on the head? I'm asking this, as when I took off the valve cover, it came off and I had to super glue it back. Or is it impossible for this to happen, as I would not been able to put the valve cover back on? I shut the engine off almost immediately (it ran for 30 seconds). Or is this ''normal'' after what I consider, ''invasive surgery" on a car. Help...

My recommendation...check your coil connections. This is what threw everything off (Misfire code). Purs like a kitten now.

You broke off the caps and glued them back on? Ugh, I'd start there. At least pull the cover back off and check them. You may have to buy a new valve cover. A lot of techs replace them depending on the mileage of the car, once the gaskets start leaking. The pcv system is built into the cover and may need to be replaced anyway.
