E93 330D Smoke - Please help me diagnose

    Hi @ all,

    So here's the story:

Wife her E93 330D 2008 (M57N2) is a little on steroids and having steroid issues . Originally 231hp, now 315hp (dyno).

    What was changed:
    - Custom downpipe (DPF and cat removal)
    - Intercooler 335i (bigger, but OEM)
    - EGR removal
    - Swirlflaps gone
    - Remap

Since the downpipe&new remap (couple of months ago), it seemed to smoke a little. But this got worse last period of time.

    Symptoms:
    - White/Blue-ish smoke when hot, after idle of couple of minutes
    - Oil useage is there, but minimal (1litre on 3500km/2100miles)
    - No coolant issues, nor oil in coolant or vice versa
    - Still a lot of the power
    - A little more pressure under the oil cap. Smoke comes out. When I let the oil cap rest on it (not locked) it rattles a little (upwards). Since I believe this should be vacuum, this is a symptom. No oil coming out.
    - I've noticed the turbo doing a little whining sound lately. Only when cold (but more then it used to do). It's the notorious sound for dead turbos when they do it constantly. No play on the wheels (as far as I can feel)

    Done so far:
    - 2 indies have had the car for 4 weeks total; no conclusion
    - I've checked all vacuum lines and replaced some
    - I've my own INPA & stuff; changed MAP sensor since it threw errors
    - Checked intake manifold for cracks
    - Replaced crankcase breather (vortex type)
    - Checked compression; all good
    - Checked injectors (by another company for sprays and pressure); all good

Sure I've forgotten something. No errors @ computer, but problem persists.

I'm having troubles (and the professionals also) to diagnose this issue. It might be valve stem seals, but I'm not sure. This doesn't seem to be a common issue on the m57n2.

    I removed the intake manifold and the intake line to the turbo. Oil was present. While a little oil doesnt concern me, I think this might be more then a little;

Is there anyone who can confirm this is exceeding "normal"? And if it is; is this a indication the turbo is going out?
I've done some reading, and saw that some people with remapped BMW's had good luck with installing an oil catch can. Anyone can tell me if this would work?

Any other help/insights are more then welcome.

    Thanks!
