Got a turbo I am putting in my e46. Turbo is in intercooler is in and all the piping. Now the problem I am running into is on the original intake right behind the maf there is two parts that tee off pretty sure one is the vent not sure what the other one is. I know they can't g under pressure so what can I do about them?
Are you talking about the F connector? One goes to the fuel pressure regulator, and you do want boost going to that.
The other goes to jet pump for brake booster, you dont want boost going to this so use a check valve.
There are people who have figure it out or are figuring it out, as well as shops. Here is a shop that has done them:

pretty sure it is idle control valve its right above the throttle body
Tough to offer any advice without a picture...and I know this engine pretty well.

See what I mean, Cody? You're getting the same advice here that I gave you on the mechanical forum.....if you're going to blow in it, you need to do it the right way.
You've got a "kit" that wasn't intended for your car, a piggyback crap computer that doesn't even have wiring diagrams or instructions, you don't know what to do about the CCV system, and, I'd be willing to bet you don't have a dyno or an experienced tuner. With that combination of missing information, parts, and experience, you're going to melt the motor.

you want the fpr to see the boost because it will add fuel pressure to boost 1:1.
it reacts very well like a fpr should.
sorry been gone been in the field. I have a dyno and experienced tuner that I bring all my cars to here in fort hood. I have a aem piggyback which I have the diagram for didn't have it for the bmw dme. and I not using some cheap ebay turbo kit. I cant find a kit for this car so I'm using a turbonetics turbo I have made the manifold. well I lied the intercooler kit is from ebay.
Piggy back is not a good time on these cars. With dual vanos and e-throttle its a nightmare.
Just keep the factory harness and MS43. Its plenty good for most reasonable power goals and you can retain all the bmw functionality. Its slightly more challenging to tune than a aftermarket ecu, but its worth it as you wont be playing with 2 computers trying to get them to play nice together
Plus I find the OEM knock detection and vanos control to be extremely accurate.
Right and I'd think the OEM FPR is setting up to increase full pressure with the stronger vacuum associated with higher load from a NA engine. Now to have positive pressure indicate higher load, I'm surprised it has the same result. If it works then it works I guess.

Im not sure m54 FPR references vac/boost in stock form. Yes that seems dumb but its true.
The vac line on the fpr lands before the throttlebody in stock form. No vac there. I have heard it is just there to contain fuel in the event of a possible diaphragm failure.
Now when it sees boost will it climb 1:1? Possibly.... Ive been tuning a USA MS42 powered M52TU with similar fuel setup and the fuel table doesn't show any signs of fuel pressure fighting boost pressure.
You would think the fuel table would have a strange shape if fuel pressure is not holding a constant differential over manifold pressure.
ok... so I shouldn't run a piggyback also I have a ms45 not ms43 don't no if that matters or not and I should run boost to the valve above the throttle body?
You are going to want to swap to MS43. MS45 is more complicated to tune and there is not much support for it.
Yes its okay to run boost to the IACV. You will want to go over it to boost proof it. Real hose clamps, epoxy the plastic fittings, etc.
