Hello. I recently bought an e70 3.0d and i got 2 sets of 18 inch wheels. I m thinking that i could buy a set of Y 20 inch wheels for the summer.
Is there a significant difference between them ?
Ps. Sorry for my bad english and also this is my first topic and i m not sure that this is the correct place.

The way something "feels" is subjective...so can't really expound how "significant" it will be to you.
But just the mere fact that there is less "cushion" with a lower profile wheel/tire set-up and a wider contact patch (with the ground/road surface) with 20" wheel/tires vs 18" wheel/tires...it won't be the same and the difference is noticeable.
I run staggered 20" set-up for spring/summer/fall...and mount dedicated 18" snow tires in the winter...and yes, the 20" tires feel/handle differently than the 18" tires.

I feel like the tire is -sliping- unde hard corners, do you feel the same with the 20s ? Also, the 20s are runflat ?

No, my 20" tires do not feel that way...but they are regular tires.
