Wow this is so amazing to see. Wish I had that knowledge to do this build. I have no clue about wiring and all this. Keep it up.

Still just fixing little things, missing clips, missing screws stuff like that. For some odd reason someone removed all the radio/DSP mounting brackets. I found a set and put everything back right. I donated my old CD changer since it was missing. Replaced the rear cup holder with an extra I had.
It's becoming a mini restoration. It even had a cracked headlight which I happen to have a spare set of lenses. The 2 front seats have also been redyed. Also added a tri-color M5 facelift 3 spoke steering wheel.
The hood is done and back on the car.

It's getting close. For the first time I tried putting the rear windows down. It didn't go well, both went crunch. There happen to be one in the trunk and now the other in on order.
Gonna try to get an alignment Monday or Tuesday. Still waiting on a few other items before it's ready to find a new owner.
The engine runs good considering it has 87 octane gas that's at least 15 months old.

Damn, now I am really glad I didn't buy it back as is for a DD! But at least now the next owner will get a car with everything fully addressed. Phenominal work as always, Trevor!

80 some, not sure, less than 100K.
I drove Blue down to Greenville today. It drives great, put some new gas in with the 1/4 tank of old gas. Still needs an alignment.

Wonder how much this machine is going to pull when it goes up for sale!!! Estoril is my second favorite blue BMW has made, Interlagos first and San Marino frozen third.

I've gotten a couple of codes for fuel system. A little Googling suggests a air leak after the MAFs. I pulled the plenum off and the brake booster hose that comes off each bank and then T's together had turned hard as a rock and I think is leaking. So it'll sit until that gets here.
Surprisingly but not really it drives a lot like my car. Which I think is good

Not really, while it was on the alignment rack a leaking CV boot was found, on a part of the joint that is not serviceable, so I've had to find a new axle.
Also, Since I didn't want a glossy engine bay I didn't clear coat it. However, I discovered that base coat is not very durable so I had to fix the color in places and sprayed it with flat clear.
I had to replace the clips on the side skirt, fix the glove box, replace the nav monitor.
It'll get there at some point.

omg, I was wondering what ever happened and why Alex never had it finished! I didn't realize he was in an accident. I am so glad to see it's getting the attention it deserves. Great job Trevor!
