SOLD E36 M3 COMPLETE T4 turbo kit with Technique Tuning Stage II OBD1 software

Stage II turbo kit + UUC Cerametallic Clutch + 3" Full exhaust
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Price: SOLD

I'm selling the turbo setup that came off my 95 OBD1 E36 M3 when I sold it in 2014. The core of the setup is similar to Technique Tuning Stage II kits, but with an upgraded turbo, larger intake tubing, and the huge intercooler. In addition, the other components you'll need to buy anyway are included: full 3" SS exhaust and UUC Ultrasmooth Cerametallic clutch. I typically ran at 8psi, but up to 13psi with 93 octane. I put approximately 8k miles on the kit. Unfortunately, I don't have a dyno sheet. I was doing some back-and-forth tuning from NickG of Technique Tuning before work necessitated my move across the country and selling the car. The software is probably the best part of this kit, being MAF-based and retaining the stock OBD1 ECU. It's truly suitable as a daily driver.

    Condition:
There is no shaft wobble in the turbo. Parts are in great condition. Some dirt and scratches to be expected from 8k miles

    Included: (what's in the pictures)
    - T4/GT40 turbo (360 thrust bearings)
    - Cartech T4 turbo manifold (S50)
    - Cartech aluminum engine mount (for 3" piping to air filter)
    - Two options for intake: 4" to 3" reducer or 4" (good luck...it might fit)
    - 3" aluminum heat coated intake piping from intercooler to manifold
    - 2.5" piping from turbo to intercooler
    - 3" downtube with wastegate flange
    - Tial 38mm wastegate
    - 3" SS exhaust with Magnaflow muffler and 4" tip
    - V-band attached (removable) Magnaflow catalytic converter
    - UUC UltraSmooth Cerametallic clutch + (Sachs) pressure plate
    - SS Oil feed line for turbo
    - 45-degree bend fitting for oil return line
    - Large aluminum intercooler 3" inlet/outlet and mounting brackets
    - T-clamps everywhere and silicone couplings
    - Tial 50mm BOV
    - Technique Tuning 3" MAF (purchased the new style directly from NickG)
    - Technique Tuning software and chip encryption board
    - Lucas 42lb injectors
    - Catch can and hose
    - Silicone hose for BOV and wastegate
    - Heat shield mat for placing under intake manifold (see picture on my intake manifold)
    - Summit fuel pressure gauge with mount
    - 15psi boost gauge with matching amber lighting and T's for tapping into vacuum.
    - Complete assembly for 2 gauges mounted on A-pillar (note only boost gague is included)
    - A stock clutch if you want it

Additional things you'll need (not included):
    - .140" MLS Head Gasket (I purchased mine from VAC motorsports)
    - Some bolts. I've included everything I could find, but intercooler mounts need 4 bolts, as do wastegate flanges.
    - Gaskets for wastegate flanges and T4 turbine
    - Hose for oil return line (fittings included except for oil pan fitting that needs to be welded)
    - Air filter (fits in bumper by fog light) and 3" flexible connector to turbo compressor

    History:
I started with a kit purchased from EMC on this forum, which is where the manifold, most of the piping and the giant intercooler came from. From there, I upgraded the turbo (specs below) and a full 3" exhaust. I also purchsed these parts new: Cartech mount, UUC clutch, Tial BOV, Lucas 42lb injectors and Technique Tuning MAF. After the NickG tuning and fixing a broken knock sensor, some intake leaks, the car idled smoothly and felt insane at 13psi.
I documented the turbo install here:
Turbo install pictures: part 1 (long, 56k death)
Turbo install part 2: MLS headgasket, ARP studs
Turbo install part 3: Final steps
I'll send the buyer all the pics (switched ISPs and lost the old hosting space).

    Turbo specs:
The turbo itself is a T4/GT40, with the exact same compressor housing and wheel from the gt35r (technically a gt40wheel) with a p-trim .58 on-center turbine to fit the Cartech manifold. Its just a standard 360 thrust bearing.

    Shipping:
Buyer pays all costs whether freight or FedEx. I'll come up with an estimate, but exact price will be determined on day of shipping.

    Pickup available in Providence, RI.

Yep. Someone is going to save ~$200 on shipping, and not have to worry about damage during shipping. One more day. I'm driving on Tuesday now.

I used to run this same setup. I LOVED how fast that turbo would spool with the oncenter housing and Cartech manifold.

How is oil drainage with that manifold?

It worked perfectly, but I was very careful with the angles of the drain and getting it welded to the pan. See this album for drain pics: https://photos.app.goo . gl/yXEmjiK5Hs54YrcH6 (remove spaces in the url)

Looks like a decent low buck complete kit for someone who can use an OBD1 tune and is interested in power in the 400 rwhp range.
